Trivia

    Album

  • "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai" (2000) was supposed to be the debut film of actress Kareena Kapoor. However, she walked out of the film when a misunderstanding developed between her mother, Babita Kapoor, and the film's director, Rakesh Roshan. Amisha Patel replaced her in it and Kareena went on debut in this film.[1][2]
  • This film may have been inspired by the English short story "Love Across the Salt Desert" by Keki Daruwalla.
  • This was Abhishek Bachchan's debut film. In 1998, J.P. Dutta had announced a film titled "Aakhri Mughal" which was supposed to be Abhishek Bachchan's first Hindi film. However, it got shelved and J.P. Dutta made this film instead.

    Song

  • Mere Humsafar - Anu Malik adapted the tune of a song by his father Sardar Malik, "Main Tumhari Ragini Tum Geet Ho" ("Roop Sundari", 1964), for this song.[3]
