• The film was shot and released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. It was also dubbed and released in Malayalam.
• It was alleged that one of the posters of the film was plagiarised from a poster of the Hollywood film "Blade Runner 2049" (2017).[1]
• Outshiny India, a Bengaluru-based bag company, filed a police complaint of cheating against the makers of this film. They claimed that they had paid the filmmakers Rs. 37 lakhs as part of a product placement deal. According to them, the producers reneged on the deal and did not feature their product in the film. This had allegedly resulted in losses of over Rs. 1.38 crore for the company. It's not clear how this matter was eventually resolved.[2]
• There were allegations that the film was an unauthorised remake of the French action thriller "Largo Winch" (2008) based on a Belgian comic book hero of the same name. Jerome Salle, the director of "Largo Winch" (2008), took to social media to express his disappointment over the alleged plagiarism. The Telugu film "Agnyaathavaasi" (2018) was also said to plagiarised from the same film.[3][4]
