Trivia

    Album

  • This film was based on Samaresh Basu's story "Chhutir Phande". A Bengali film that had the same title as the story was released in 1975. The Bengali film "Honeymoon" (2018) was also an adaptation of the same story.
  • This film featured Amol Palekar and Vidya Sinha in cameos. Both actors had gotten their career-making breaks in Basu Chatterjee's films "Rajnigandha" (1974) and "Chhoti Si Baat" (1975). Amol Palekar played himself, and Vidya Sinha appeared in a brief montage as the sister of Ashok Kumar's character in this film. Vidya Sinha had no dialogues and was not credited for her appearance in the film.[1][2]
