Trivia

    Album

  • The frame in the film's opening credits which listed music director Kalyanji Virji Shah was accompanied by the "been" music from "Nagin" (1954). Kalyanji shot to fame after playing this theme on the clavioline. This was one of the few films in which Kalyanji's music director credits featured the "been" music from "Nagin" (1954).[1]
  • This was the only Hindi film in which actress Nirupa Roy had lyric writing credits. She was listed as one of the lyricists in the opening credits. While the Hindi Film Geet Kosh credits the lyrics for "Mujhe Dekh Chand Sharmaye" to Nirupa Roy, the music records paint a confusing picture. The first release of the film's music records credited Roy as the lyricist for "Mujhe Dekh Chand Sharmaye" and "Kal Kal Chhal Chhal Bahti Jaoon". However, in the subsequent releases, Indeevar was credited instead of Nirupa Roy. Similarly, while some versions of the music records credited Nirupa Roy as the lyricist for "Haath Se Mere Lele Jaam", other versions credited Hasrat Jaipuri.[MR1]
  • The film's opening credits displayed a unique credit that probably hasn't been seen in any other Hindi film - "Mahurat Time By Manharlal Randeria".
