Song

• Nazar Se Mil Gayi Nazar - It appears that the original version of this song had an extra line in each of the two antaras - "Roop salona simat ke meri baahon mein sharmaaya" and "Aaj chunariya dhalak dhalak jaye pag paayaliya chhanke". These lines were removed from the film and the subsequent music releases of the film. It's possible that the Censor Board had objected to these lines.
• Naam Mera Nimmo Mukam Ludhiana - The 78 rpm records for this song had the words "sang liye doloon main pyar ka khazana" in its mukhda. This line was changed to "sang liye doloon main pyar ka taraana" in the film due to the Censor Board's objection.
• Naam Mera Nimmo Mukam Ludhiana - Salil Chowdhury reused the tune of this song with a lot more success for the Kannada film song "Dooradinda Bandantha Sundaranga Jaana" ("Samshaya Phala", 1971) sung by L.R. Eswari.[1]
• Ghoonghat Hata Na Dena Goriye - Salil Chowdhury used the tune of this song later for the Malayalam film song "Ponnalayil Ammanamadi" ("Devadasi", 1971).[2]
• Chand Kabhi Tha Baahon Mein - Salil Chowdhury reused the tune of this song for the Bengali film song "Raat Kuheli Chharano" ("Rai Bahadur", 1961) and the Malayalam film song "Raakuyile Urangu" ("Ee Ganam Marakkumo", 1978). The Bengali song had two solo versions sung by Hemant Kumar and Sabita Chowdhury, and the Malayalam song was sung by Yesudas and Sabita Chowdhury.[3][4]
