Trivia
- This was Mahrukh Mirza's comeback to filmmaking after about two decades. He launched his son Aasad Mirza in it. It was also the debut film of actor Sanjay Dutt's niece Nazia Hussain. Akhtar Hussain, Nazia's grandfather, was the brother of Sanjay Dutt's mother Nargis.
- Director Marukh Mirza dedicated the film to his brother Shahrukh Mirza who died in 2007. Marukh, Shahrukh, and Heemayun were part of the Mirza Brothers team which wrote, produced, and directed several films in the 1980s and 1990s.
