Trivia

    Album

  • The opening credits of this film used a portion of Santana's "Jingo" from his debut, eponymous album released in 1969.[1]
  • The audio records of this film were issued in 1971 but the film was released in 1972.
  • Shatrughan Sinha and Mumtaz were so close in the early 1970s that there were rumours of them being in a romantic relationship. However, Sinha claimed in his biography that their relationship was strictly platonic. According to him, this was one of the four films he got because of Mumtaz's recommendation, the other films being "Khilona" (1970), "Pyar Ka Rishta" (1973) and "Naami Chor" (1977).[2][3][4][MR35]

    Song

  • Dil Ne Pyar Kiya Hai Ek Bewafa Se - The first line in the third stanza of the song - "Ae gulbadan sabse mumtaz thi tum" - was a reference to actress Mumtaz who appeared in the song.
  • Nadi Ka Kinara - It appears that this parody song was part of the film but was not included in its audio release.
