Trivia

    Album

  • This was the last film featuring the leading pair of Govinda and Karishma Kapoor. They had built a successful partnership over the years, working in 11 films together. Their first film together was "Muqabla" (1993).[1]
  • Govinda's distribution company had acquired the rights for this film from Veekay Enterprises for the Bombay circuit. When the film came up for registration with the Indian Motion Picture Distributors' Association, it was found out that Veekay Enterprises had already sold parts of the Bombay circuit to sub-distributors. The film could be registered only after the claims of those sub-distributors had been settled.[2]
  • This film was in the making for three years.
  • This was perhaps the only Hindi film in which Govinda played a negative role.
