Album

• The film was an adaptation of the French romantic comedy "De Vrais Mensonges" (2010) [English: "Beautiful Lies"].
• This was Ramesh Sippy's comeback film as a director. His last film as a director before this was "Zamaana Deewana" (1995). Sippy had announced this film in 2014 and completed it in 2015. However, he could not find distributors to release the film for years till its eventual release in January 2020.[1][2][3]
• This was the third film in which Ramesh Sippy directed his second wife Kiran Joneja. It was Sippy who gave Joneja her first big break in the TV serial "Buniyaad" (1986 - 1987). They got married in 1991 after he divorced his first wife. He had previously directed her in "Akayla" (1991) and "Zamaana Deewana" (1995).[4][5]
• The film featured a song titled "Mujhe Kaise Pata Na Chala" composed by Meet Bros, written by Kumaar, and sung by Papon. Meet Bros had released the song as a single in 2018. It was not included in the film's soundtrack album or listed in its end credits. It appears that Meet Bros decided to release the song as a single when the film was delayed and it looked that it would be shelved.[6]
