Trivia

    Album

  • This was actor Atul Agnihotri's first film in a lead role. He had debuted as a child artist earlier in the film "Pasand Apni Apni" (1983).[1]

    Song

  • Hum Se Badal Gaya Wo Nigahen To Kya Hua - This song was adapted from a song with the same title from the Pakistani film "Dil-E-Betaab" (1968), composed by Master Inayat Hussain and sung by Mehdi Hassan.
  • Aaj Hum Ne Dil Ka Har Kissa Tamam Kar Diya (Sir Sir Sir We Love You) - In the film's audio release, the female voice in this song was wrongly credited to Alka Yagnik instead of Kavita Krishnamurthy.
  • Aaj Hum Ne Dil Ka Har Kissa Tamam Kar Diya (Sir Sir Sir We Love You) - According to Rahat Indori, this song was written by him. He had given the lyrics of this song to director Mahesh Bhatt and later found out that it had been used in this film only when it became very popular. However, while he was credited in the film and its promotional material, the audio release credited only one lyricist for all the songs of the film - Qateel Shifai.[2]
  • Band Hothon Se (Female) - Qateel Shifai's lyrics for this song were adapted from his own song for the Pakistani film "Dil-E-Betab" (1969). The tunes of the two songs, however, were different.
  • Sun Sun Sun Barsaat Ki Dhun - The mukhda of this song was adapted from Jose Feliciano's "Rain". R.D. Burman used this song twice - for the flute solo in "Jaane Jaan Dhoondhta Phir Raha" ("Jawani Diwani", 1972) and the song "Maine Tumko Chaha Pehli Baar" ("Double Cross", 1973). "Rain" was also used in a medley sung by Usha Iyer in the film "Bombay To Goa" (1972). Music director Satyam's "Mere Dil Jhoom Jhoom Tu Gaaye Ja" ("Rani Aur Jaani", 1973) also used the same tune.[3][4][5][6][7]
  • Odh Ke Andhera Main To - This song was wrongly credited to Kavita Krishnamurthy instead of Alka Yagnik in the film's audio release.
