Trivia

    Album

  • This was Amole Gupte's directorial debut. He had previously launched "Taare Zameen Par" (2007) as a director but had to relinquish it to producer Aamir Khan due to creative differences.[1]
  • Amol Gupte, his wife Deepa Bhatia, and their son Partho worked together in this film. Amole produced and directed the film, Deepa edited it, and Partho was the lead actor.
  • Since the film featured many child artists who were acting in films for the first time, director Amole Gupte conducted acting workshops for them. A note at the beginning of the film said that the film was "a result of theatre and cinema sessions conducted on Saturdays and vacation days, each session not exceeding five hours including 2 recesses and without a single day of school missed by the children.".
  • This was music director Hitesh Sonik's debut Hindi film.
