Trivia

    Album

  • The film was intended to be the spiritual successor of the films "ABCD: Any Body Can Dance" (2013) and "ABCD: Any Body Can Dance - 2" (2015). However, it could not be directly associated with the franchise since it had a different producer. All three films had similar themes, were written and directed by Remo D'Souza, had Sachin - Jigar's music, and featured Prabhu Deva in key roles. This film and the 2015 production had actors Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in common.[1][2][3]
  • The film was inspired by a true story as well as by the work done by a charitable organisation named Sikh Welfare and Awareness Team (SWAT). Varun Dhawan's look in the film was inspired by the young social media celebrity Danish Zehen who died in 2018.[4][5][6]

    Song

  • Muqabla - This was a recreated version of a super-hit song from the Tamil film "Kadhalan" (1994). The original song was composed by A.R. Rahman, written by Vaali, and sung by Mano and Swarnalatha. The Tamil film was dubbed in Hindi as "Humse Hai Muqabla" (1995).[7]
  • Illegal Weapon 2.0 - This was a recreated version of a 2017 Punjabi non-film song composed by Intense, written by Garry Sandhu, and sung by Garry Sandhu & Jasmine Sandlas.[8]
  • Lagdi Lahore Di - This was a recreated version of a 2017 Punjabi non-film song composed, sung, and written by Guru Randhawa.[9]
  • Hindustani - This was a recreated version of a song from the film "Dus" (1997). The original song was composed by Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy, written by Sameer, and sung by Udit Narayan, Shankar Mahadevan, Mahalakshmi Iyer, and Dominique Cerejo. The same song was also recreated for the film "PM Narendra Modi" (2019).[10]
  • Bezubaan Kab Se Main Raha - This was Sachin - Jigar's recreated version of a song they had originally composed for the film "ABCD: Any Body Can Dance" (2013). They had recreated the same song earlier for the film "ABCD: Any Body Can Dance - 2" (2015).[11][12]
  • Sip Sip 2.0 - This was a recreated version of a 2018 Punjabi song recorded by Garry Sandhu and Intense, written by Garry Sandhu, and sung by Jasmine Sandlas.[13]
  • Mile Sur Mera Tumhara - The song's hook line was taken from a song titled "Ek Sur" produced by Doordarshan, composed by Ashok Patki, written by Piyush Pandey, and sung by various artists, including Bhimsen Joshi, Kavita Krishnamurthy, M. Balamuralikrishna, and Lata Mangeshkar. The original song was part of a national integration campaign launched by the Indian government in 1988.[14]
  • Mile Sur Mera Tumhara - The song was not part of the film's soundtrack album. It was released separately as a single.
