  • The making of this film was delayed because of director Bharat Rungachary's ill health. He was being treated for cancer at the time and passed away shortly after the film's release. This was his last film.
  • This film was inspired by the Hollywood thriller "Unlawful Entry" (1992). The film "Fareb" (1996) was also adapted from the same film.[1]
