Trivia
- This film was adapted from the play "Charley's Aunt" (1892) by Brandon Thomas. Subhash Sharma was given the credit for the adaptation as follows - "Stolen from the original play".

- This film was a long time in the making. Its audio records were issued in 1977, the film was certified in December 1978 and it was released in 1979.

- Aankhon Mein Tum (Duet) - The tune of this song was adapted from Ennio Morricone's theme, titled "Ninna Nanna In Blu", for the Italian film "Il gatto a nove code" (1971) (English: "The Cat o' Nine Tails").[1]
- Bhool Gaye Hum Sab Kuchh - This was the only Hindi film song sung by Bansari Lahiri, Bappi Lahiri's mother. Although she sang "Nahin Maane Jiyara Hamaar" for the Hindi-dubbed film "Subhash Chandra" (1978), she had recorded the song for its Bengali original in 1966.[2]
