Trivia

    Album

  • Music director Naushad was also credited as the story writer of this film. He was credited only one other time as the story writer of a film for "Palki" (1967).[1]
  • The director of this film, Rehman Naushad, was music director Naushad's eldest son. Another of his sons, Raju Naushad, assisted him on the music of this film.
  • This film was completed in 1991 but its release was delayed by two years since it had trouble finding distributors.
  • Lata Mangeshkar worked with Naushad for the first time in more than a decade for this film. She had stopped working with the music director after some differences had developed between them during the making of the film "Chambal Ki Raani" (1979). It appears that they finally resolved their differences before this film.[2][MR31]
