Album

• This was the directorial debut of Kanu Behl. The film was produced by Dibakar Banerjee with whom Behl had worked in "Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!" (2008) and "Love Sex Aur Dhokha" (2010).[1][2]
• The film premiered in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival in May 2014. It was released in theatres in India in October 2015 after being shown at various international film festivals.
• The film was inspired by a 2011 news story about a carjacking gang in Delhi led by a criminal named Joginder Joga.[3]

• Kutte - While the film did not feature any songs, this song was used to promote it. A version of the song was included in "Ajab Ishq Maati Da" (2015), the debut album of the indie musician Harpreet.
