Trivia

    Album

  • This low-budget film was a critical and commercial success. It was remade in Tamil as "Kaatrin Mozhi" (2018) starring Jyothika.
  • This was a breakout role for actor Manav Kaul who had debuted in films many years ago in "Jajantram Mamantram" (2003).[1]
  • The film's opening credits gave an "Introducing" acting credit to radio jockey Malishka Mendonsa even though she had appeared in a few other films before.
  • This was ad filmmaker Suresh Triveni's debut Hindi film as a director. The sound of trains used in the film in several places was his tribute to Mani Ratnam and his penchant for film sequences shot on trains.[2]

    Song

  • Ban Ja Rani - This was a recreated version of the non-film song "Tu Meri Rani" (2016) recorded by Guru Randhawa.[3]
  • Hawa Hawai 2.0 - This was a remixed version of a popular song from "Mr. India" (1987). The original song was composed by Laxmikant - Pyarelal and written by Javed Akhtar. Kavita Krishnamurthy's original vocals were mixed with lines sung by Shashaa Tirupati for this version. Mikey McCleary had produced a recreated version of the same song earlier for the film "Shaitan" (2011).[4][5]
  • Kuch Tune Si Hain Maine Ki Hai Rafu Yeh Doriyan - This was the first Hindi film song composed and written by Santanu Ghatak.
