• This was a remake of the award-winning Kannada film "Ondu Motteya Kathe" (2017). The makers of the film were unhappy when the film "Bala" (2019) was announced as they were concerned about the similarities between the two films. The issue blew up when the makers of "Bala" (2019) advanced its release from November 22 to November 7, a day before the planned release of this film. Director Abhishek Pathak countered this by filing a case in the Supreme Court that sought to stall the release of "Bala" (2019). It appears that matter was settled out of court. "Bala" (2019) was released on November 7 as planned and this film shifted its release date to November 1.[1][2][3][4]

• Outfit Teri Mutiyare - Singer Guru Randhawa made a cameo appearance in the film for this song. It was used in the end credits. The song was a recreated version of a 2015 Punjabi single composed by Preet Hundal, written by Guru Randhawa and Ikka, and sung by Guru Randhawa.[5]
