• A little before its filming was to begin, the makers of the film "Veere Di Wedding" (2018) became aware that this film had a similar title. Anil Kapoor, who was one of the producers of "Veere Di Wedding" (2018), wrote to the Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association (IMPPA) alleging that this film was attempting to get free publicity by using a title similar to that of a bigger film. The IMPPA dismissed his complaint since the producers of this film had a registered trademark for its title. The makers of "Veere Di Wedding" (2018) also filed a petition with the Bombay High Court to prevent this film from using a similar title but their request was denied.[1][2]
• This was the first film in which Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda worked together. They were reported to be in a relationship in the years to come.[3]

Song

• Hatt Ja Tau (Mane Talli Ho Kar Naachan De) - Vikash Kumar slapped a legal notice on the makers of the film for copyright infringement. He claimed that the song was based on a song of the same title recorded by him. It appears that the matter was settled out of court. Prior to this, Pritam had used the same tune for the song "Hotty Naughty" ("De Dana Dan", 2009).[4][5][6]
• Hatt Ja Tau (Mane Talli Ho Kar Naachan De) - Sapna Choudhary made a cameo appearance in the film for this song.
