Aditya Narayan, the son of singer Udit Narayan, is a Bollywood playback singer and actor. Born Aditya Narayan Jha, he learnt classical music from Satyanarayan Mishra and trained under Kalyanji (of Kalyanji-Anandji).
Aditya started his career as a singer when he was only five years old. He has sung with a number of renowned artistes including Udit Narayan and Asha Bhosle. He has also accompanied his father on musical world tours and performed in a number of countries, including the US, Canada and the West Indies.

Some of the films in which he has sung are "Akele Hum Akele Tum" (1995), "Rangeela" (1995), "Pardes" (1997), "Taal" (1998) and "Hum Saath Saath Hai" (2009).
He took a break from Bollywood to complete a Diploma in English Contemporary Music from the Tech Music School, London after which he came back to India and started hosting the "Sa Re Ga Ma" franchise of music talent shows.
Aditya Narayan has also acted in films. He has appeared as a child artist in films like "Rangeela" (1995) and "Pardes" (1997). In 2010, he played the lead role in "Shaapit", composed its title song and sang several songs in it. He enjoyed moderate success three years later for his songs for the film "Ram-leela" (2013).
