Agosh is the acronym for the Bollywood music director trio R. Anandh, Gopal Rao and Shaleen Sharma.
They ventured into Bollywood in 1998 with Santosh Sivan’s film “Zor” where the song “Main Kudi Anjani Hoon” was well appreciated. Prior to that, they had composed music for Malayalam and Tamil movies as well.
Their band, which was formed in 1994, with Anandh on the guitar, Shaleen on the drums and Gopal on the vocals, found their footing with advertisement jingles. Their songs have been sung by the likes of Sonu Nigam, Hema Sardesai, Anuradha Sriram, Shankar Mahadevan, Udit Narayan and Kavitha Krishnamurthy.
