Arif Lohar is a Punjabi folk and Sufi musician from Pakistan. Born in 1966, he found his footing in the Hindi film industry as a playback singer. Hailing from Punjab, Pakistan, he is the son of iconic folk musician Alam Lohar.

With over 150 albums and 3000 songs to his credit, he is considered to be one of the top five Punjabi Folk singers in the world. Government of Pakistan conferred the highest civilian award in Pakistan, the Pride of Performance Award, on him in 2005. In Bollywood, he has sung Pritam Chakraborty’s “Jugni” (“Cocktail”, 2012), Mukhtar Sahota’s “Jugni” (“Diary of a Butterfly”, 2012) and “Ankhian” (“Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster”, 2011).
