Arun Paudwal was a music director who worked in the Hindi as well as the Marathi film industry.
He used to work with S.D. Burman as an arranger before he launched a solo career. He is married to the famous playback singer in Bollywood, Anuradha Paudwal. He died on 1 November 1991.
At the beginning of his career, he has worked as a music director duo, Anil-Arun with Anil Mohile. As Anil-Arun he has composed for “Bhagwan Samaye Sansar Mein” (1976), “Aaj Ka Yeh Ghar” (1976), Marathi movies like “Aaj Jhale Mukht Mi” (1986) and “Asah Hi Banwa Banwi” (1988). His solo work as a music director includes movies like “Meera Ka Mohan” (1992), Marathi movies “Atmavishwas” (1989) and “Gammat Jammat” (1987).
As an assistant music director he has worked on many hit movies including “Sharmilee” (1971), “Chalte Chalte” (1976), “Aap Ki Khatir” (1977), “Ek Baar Kaho” (1980) and “Pasand Apni Apni” (1983).
