Husnlal-Bhagatram were a music director duo, credited as the first composers to work in pairs in the Hindi film industry.
While Husnlal was a classical musician and violinist, Bhagatram was a harmonium player. They were the younger brothers of famous music director Pandit Amarnath. Born in Jalandhar, Punjab, their breakthrough movie in the industry was "Chand" (1944). Some of their popular songs are "Mere Dilruba Aaja" ("Chad", 1944), "Chale Jaana Nahin" and "Chup Chup Khade Ho" ("Bari Behen", 1949), "Banke Suhagan Rahi" and "Rona Hi Likha Tha" ("Aadhi Raat", 1950) and "Sun Mere Saajna Re" ("Aansoo", 1953).
