Javed Jaffrey is a versatile artist in Bollywood. He is an actor, comedian, filmmaker, singer, TV presenter and dancer.
Born on 4 December 1963, Jaffrey is the son of famous comedian Jagdeep. His brother, Naved Jaffrey is also in the entertainment business. Javed Jaffrey’s debut film in Bollywood was Subhash Ghai’s “Meri Jung” in 1985. He also sang the Laxmikant-Pyarelal song “Bol Baby Bol Rock ‘N’ Roll” with the legendary Kishore Kumar and S. Janaki in the movie. His song “Bhai” from (Bombay Boys, 1998) was a rage in the late 90’s.

In 2008, in Jugal Hansraj’s animated musical comedy “Roadside Romeo”, Jaffrey sang the song “Cool Cool” along with Saif Ali Khan, Naresh Kamath and Marianne D’Cruz. It was set to music by Salim-Sulaiman with lyrics by Jaideep Sahni.
Along with Antara Mitra and Akriti Kakkar, he sang “Aa Jaane Ja” in the film “Hello Darling” (2010). He has also sung Ranjit Barot’s song “Baap Re Baap” in the film “Oh Darling Yeh Hai India” (1995) with Shankar Mahadevan.
