Jeet - Pritam was how Jeet Ganguly and Pritam Chakroborty started their careers in Bollywood before moving on to successful solo careers. They got their break as music directors through friend, Sanjay Gadhvi’s “Tere Liye” (2000). This was followed by Yashraj films’ “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai” (2002).

Their last movie together as a duo was “Mudda: The Issue” (2003) following which their relationship turned sour. While Jeet pursued a career as music director in Bengali films and became successful, Pritam did the same in Hindi films. In 2012, Jeet made a Bollywood comeback of sorts by composing for three films, "Blood Money", "Raaz 3" and "Shirin Farhad Ki To Nikal Padi".
