Labh Janjua is an Indian bhangra, hip-hop and playback singer.
He was born in Majrah Manna Singh, a small village near Amloh in Punjab. Hailing from a musical family, his first guru was the late musician, Jaswant Bhawran.
Labh Janjua appeared on the musical scene in 1999 with his hit number “Mundiyan Toh Bach Ke” which was produced by the British Indian musician, Punjabi MC. He got his break in Bollywood films in 2007, in the film “Hattrick.
Subsequently, he sang a number of popular songs in other films as well. Some of them are “Pyar Karke” in “Pyar Ke Side Effects’, “Chori Chori” in “Garam Masala” in 2005, “Dhol Bajake” in “Dhol” in 2007, “Ik Ruppayya” in “Krazzy 4”, “Jee Karda” and “Talli Hua” in “Singh is Kinng” in 2008 and ”Mahi Mennu” and ”Hiknaal” in “Dev D” in 2009. More recently, his song “Baari Barsi” is featured in the 2010 film “Band Baaja Baaraat”.
