Mehmood Ali Khan (29 September 1932–23 July 2004) was an actor, director, producer and playback singer in the Hindi film industry. With over 300 films to his credit, his best characters have mostly been in a comic role.

Popularly, he sang the comic song “Ek Chatur Naar Karke Singar” along with Manna Dey and Kishore Kumar in the 1968 movie “Padosan”. Three years prior, he had sung another popular number with Mohammad Rafi, “Hum Kaale Hai Toh Kya Hua Diwale Hai” (“Gumnaam” , 1965). Other songs by him have been featured in movies like “Bluffmaster!” (2005), “Kaash” (1987), “Aafat” (1977) “Kunwara Baap” (1974) and “Sadhu Aur Shaitan” (1968). Lucky Ali, the singer-composer is one of his sons.
