Mamta Sharma is a playback singer in the Indian film industry. She shot to fame in 2010 when she sang the hit item number “Munni Badnaam Hui” in the Salman Khan-starrer “Dabangg”. This super hit song went on to win her a Filmfare Award for Best Playback Singer (Female).
Born in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, she has been heard in several Bhojpuri albums before her entry into Bollywood. She has lent her voice to Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Bengali songs as well.
