P.B. Sreenivas (born Prativadi Bhayankara Sreenivas) was a playback singer from Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, who sang in many languages including Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. He was the voice of Dr. Raj Kumar and Gemini Ganesan for many years.
Although he established his career in the South, the debut of PBS, as he is popularly known, was actually in a Hindi film "Mr. Sampat" (1952).
He has sung along with playback singers like Geeta Dutt, P.Susheela, Shamshad Begum, S. Janaki, L.R. Eswari and Lata Mangeshkar in Bollywood. “Hum Junglee Hain” (1973), “Lav Kush” (1974), “Alakh Niranjan” (1975), “Dashavatar” (1976) and “Laxmi Pooja” (1979) are some of the movies that he has sung for in Hindi films.
