Shail Hada is a playback singer in the Hindi film industry. He hails from Kota, Rajasthan and was trained in Hindustani classical music by his father and well-known singer Jaswant Singh Hada.
Shail’s career began as a background singer for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Black” (2005). Bhansali has worked with him on all of his projects since then. In Bhansali’s 2007 blockbuster “Saawariya”, Hada sang the title song which was a chart topper. In Bhansali’s next movie, “Guzaarish” (2010), Shail sang “Tera Zikhr Hai”, “Saiba”, “Udi”, “Keh Na Saku” and the title track along with Sunidhi Chauhan and KK. He was the chief assistant music director and has arranged both the songs “Udi” and “Maza Saiba”.

Other movies he has worked on include “Lafangey Parindey” (2010), “Right Yaa Wrong” (2010) and “Vaada Raha” (2009). He has also worked as an assistant to music director Monty Sharma. His voice can be heard in Tamil and Telugu in many Harris Jayaraj songs.
