Shruti Pathak is a playback singer and lyricist in Bollywood whose success began in the remix era of the noughties with hit remix songs like “Leke Pehla Pehla Pyaar” (Baby Doll Series 2004).
Hailing from Ahmedabad and born on 27 October 1982, Shruthi shot to fame in Bollywood with the hit song “Mar Jaawan” in Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Fashion” (2008). A Filmfare nomination and Star Screen Awards came her way for this rendition. She proved her penmanship with the song “Payaliya” from the movie “Dev.D” (2009), which she also sang.
She has collaborated with the likes of Sandeep Chowta, Salim Merchant, Naresh Kamath, Mohit Chauhan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani, Abhishek Bachchan and Akon.
