Suresh Peters is a playback singer, rapper and music director in the Indian film industry. He sings for A.R. Rahman frequently and also is a part of his World Tour. His entry into music direction came with the Malayalam movie “Punjabi House” (1998).
Some of his best known renditions in Tamil include “Style” (“Sivaji: The Boss”, 1997), “Pettai Rap” (“Kadhalan”/ “Humse Hai Muqabala”, 1994), “Chikku Bukku Rayile” (“Gentleman”/“The Gentleman”, 1993) and “Kannum Kannum” (“Anniyan”, 2005). In Hindi he has sung “Banana Rap” (“Freaky Chakra”, 2003), “Hum Bhi Hain Josh Main” (“Josh”, 2000), “Khel Hai Yeh Khiladi Ka” (“Khel Khiladi Ka”, 1996) and “Zor Laga” (“Chor Chor”, 1993).
As a composer he has worked extensively in the Malayalam film industry with movies like “Love in Singapore” (2011), “Twenty 20” (2008), “Runway” (2004), “Thenkasipattanam” (2000), “Mazhathullikilukkam” (2002), “Raavanaprabhu” (2001). He has also contributed to Tamil and Telugu films as a music director.
