Yogesh Gaud was a songwriter in the Hindi film industry during the 1970 and 80s.
Popular songs of yesteryears “Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli” and “Kahin Door Jab Din Dhal Jaaye” from the Amitabh Bachchan starrer “Anand” (1971) and “Rimjhim Gire Sawan” (“Manzil”, 1979) have all been penned by him.
He has worked with music directors including Anu Malik, Nikhil-Vinay, S.D. Burman, R.D. Burman, Bappi Lahiri, Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen, Aadesh Srivastava, Salil Chowdhary and Rajesh Roshan. Singers who have turned his words into songs include Manna De, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Shaan, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Ashok Kumar, Amit Kumar, Yesudas and Mukesh.
