Zoheb Hassan is a Pakistani popstar and half of the erstwhile sibling pop band Nazia and Zoheb. Born on 18 November 1966 to businessman Basir Hassan and wife Muniza Basir in Karachi, he formed a pop band with her his sister Nazia in 1980 which went onto amass unprecedented popularity. They released four more albums together. He married Gina in 1998 and has three children.

The band’s hit song “Boom Boom” was used in the soundtrack of the Hindi movie “Star” (1982). Following this he went on to work in many Bappi Lahiri and Biddu creations in Bollywood. When his sister succumbed to cancer in 2000, he left the music industry. He now heads his family’s business ventures in Karachi and London. In 2006, he staged a comeback with the release of the album “Kismet”.
