- It appears that it was Lata Mangeshkar who suggested the tune for the mukhda of this song to C. Ramchandra. In an interview, she said that she had learnt the tune from her maternal grandmother. Laxmikant - Pyarelal also used the same tune twice - for "Meri Patli Kamar Lambe Baal Re Saanwariya Main Khadi Rahoon Ki Chali Jaoon Re" ("Mere Lal", 1966) and "Saanwariya Main Khadi Rahoon Ki Chali Jaoon Re (Mori Patli Kamar Lambe Baal Re)" ("Aatank", 1996).[1][2][3]
