- There were allegations that this song was plagiarised from the song "Soosan Khanoom" by the Iranian group Barobax. However, after going to court with charges of plagiarism against Pritam, Barobax withdrew the case and apologized to the music director. In their statement, the band said that they realized "Pritam is right and there is no copying".[1][2]
