- Kishore Kumar's scatting in this song was adapted from "Oh By Jingo!" which was originally composed in 1919 by Albert Von Tilzer and had lyrics written by Lew Brown. Over the years, it was recorded by several artists including Margaret Young, Chet Atkins and Danny Kaye. The song was adapted for other Indian film songs as well - the Bengali film song "Shing Nei Tobu" ("Lukochuri", 1958) and "Khul Simsim Khullam Khulla" ("Biwi Aur Makan", 1966).[1][2][3]
