He took the concept of Sheesh Mahal, the palace of mirrors, from "Mughal-E-Azam" (1960) and built an elaborate Aaina Mahal for this film. Additionally, this song was directly inspired by "Mohe Panghat Pe Nandlal" ("Mughal-E-Azam", 1960).[1][2][3]
