- Yesteryear actress and singer Nirmala Devi made a brief comeback to playback singing with this song, before retiring again. Years later, she came out of retirement again to sing a song in a film featuring her son, actor Govinda, in the lead role - "Raiszaada" (1989).[1]
- They were not credited for it, but some of the lines in this song were written by Gulzar and Harindranath Chattopadhyay. The film's crew used to refer to the song as a "community song" because of this.[2]
