- This song was an adaptation of "Desert Hero" from Ron Goodwin's 1959 album "Music for an Arabian Night".[1]
- A line in the song's second antara - "Wah ri yeh shaan baan / Seene ko taan taan akade jawan / Poochho ji paseena yeh roomal hai sarkar" - was removed from the film to address the Censor Board's objection. The deletion resulted in an abrupt transition in the song sequence in the film. Subsequent audio versions of the song were taken from the soundtrack and have the same abrupt transition.
