- Shailendra's original lyrics for this song were "Bombshell Baby Of Bombay" and this was the version that appeared on records. However, when the Censor Board objected, the words in the film were changed to "Beautiful Baby Of Bombay".[1][2]
- The singer of this song, Iqbal Singh, also did an Elvis Presley-inspired performance of the song in the film. Iqbal Singh was a Navy man. After this film, when the navy asked him to choose between the Navy and films, Iqbal Singh chose the former. This remained his only Hindi film song.[3]
