- Reacting to an interview of composer Ashok Patki, Jayant B. Joshi said in a Facebook post that this iconic song, that aired a lot on Doordarshan, was in fact composed by his father Bhimsen Joshi and not Ashok Patki as he claimed. He said that he himself was playing the harmonium when his father composed the tune using the Raag Bhairavi, "Jo Bhaje Hari Ko Sada" as a base.[1][2]
