- The film's audio records wrongly used the word "Pingu" instead of "Tingu" in the title of this song.
- The music label Saregama credits Geeta Roy for this song. However, there have been speculations over the years attributing the song to other singers - music director Vinod's niece Honey O'Brien on whom the song was filmed, Vinita Amladi aka Binota Chakraborty, and Minal Wagh among them. In an interview in the July 2007 edition of the Listener's Bulletin published by Har Mandir Singh 'Hamraaz', Vinita Amladi settled the debate by clarifying that it was her voice in this song.
