Trivia

  • Amaal Malik used the mukhda of a song composed by his uncle, Anu Malik, "Neend Churayee Meri" ("Ishq", 1997), for the hook line of this song. Anu Malik was unhappy that Amaal had not taken his permission for using his song. Amaal's response to this was that they didn't need Anu Malik's permission since they had purchased the rights from the copyright holders of the original song, "Sending All My Love" by Linear, on which his song was based. He also stated that he had tried calling Anu Malik several times but his uncle had not returned his call. The film's end credits and the official YouTube video of the song credited "Neend Churayee Meri" ("Ishq", 1997) and indicated that it had been licensed from Sony Music India.[1][2][3]
