Trivia

The tune and lyrics of the song's mukhda were adapted from a Bengali folk song by Abbasuddin Ahmed. Years later, Bappi Lahiri used the tune of the same song for the Hindi film song "De De Pyar De" ("Sharaabi", 1984).[1][2]
