This song featured lines from a few other songs - Elvis Presley's "Got a Lot o' Livin' to Do" (1957), Little Richard's "Jenny Jenny" (1957), Cliff Richard's "The Young Ones" (1961), and the Hindi film song "Abhi Naa Jao Chhod Kar" ("Hum Dono", 1961). While "Abhi Naa Jao Chhod Kar" ("Hum Dono", 1961) and the parodied lines based on it were sung by Mahendra Kapoor and Geeta Dutt, the lines from the other songs were sung by an uncredited male artist. Prakash, the actor on whom the song was filmed, mimicked Elvis Presley, Little Richard, and Cliff Richard and wore a blackface for the "Jenny Jenny" portion of the song.[1][2][3][4]
