- This was actress Purnima Patwardhan's first Hindi film song as a singer. She also acted in the film. Music director Vijay Singh was her father. Purnima had debuted as a child artist earlier in the film "Kabhie Ajnabi The" (1985) and went on to debut as a lead actress in "Taj Mahal - A Monument Of Love" (2003). She had two sisters - Bhagyashree of "Maine Pyar Kiya" (1989) fame and Madhuvanti who worked in "Do Aankhen Barah Hath" (1997). The sisters hailed from a royal family. Their father Vijay Singhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan was the king of the erstwhile princely state of Sangli. He composed music for several films and also produced and directed two - "Dimple" (1977) and "Kabhie Ajnabi The" (1985).[1][2][3][4][5]
