- Lata Mangeshkar won her last Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for this song. She declined to accept the award after this in order to accommodate other singers. She did make an exception in 1994, when she accepted the Filmfare Special Jury Award for her work in the film "Hum Aapke Hain Koun" (1994), for which she sang 11 of the 14 songs.[1][2]
