- While this song was being recorded, Shammi Kapoor had a vision of how he wanted to present it in the film and asked music director O.P. Nayyar if the lines of the mukhda could be repeated a few times in the end. Nayyar rejected the suggestion saying that it would make the song unnecessarily long and boring. Singer Mohammed Rafi intervened at this point and suggested that they incorporate Shammi Kapoor's suggestion and take it only if it sounded good. When O.P. Nayyar saw the filmed version of the song, he acknowledged that Shammi Kapoor's idea did make a big, positive impact.[MR15]
